Being a Grandpa means finding value in ALL that your grandchildren create. It means taking a completed page from a coloring book that your granddaughter gave you and storing it for safe-keeping. It means putting your granddaughter’s perfect spelling tests in page sleeves in order to preserve them. Being a Grandpa means taking your youngest granddaughter’s drawing that she worked so hard to make for you and keeping it in a folder so it would not tear. Grandpa Bob treated every picture we drew for him, every 100% we earned in school…everything positive that we created…with the utmost importance.  So, it was such a pleasant surprise to have my sisters and I discover these random, tangible souvenirs from our childhood while looking through one of Grandpa’s  suitcases…
